PRAYER FOR THIS BLUE PLANET

(Respectfully offered by Fear-No-More Zoo to serve the rightening of our human relationships with one another and, simultaneously, with all living beings everywhere.) -- January 1st, 2002

The following sacred prayer and intention may be read silently, or aloud, from your feeling-heart. It can also be read slowly and meditatively during a Contemplative prayer occasion with friends or family.

The following prayerful passage communicates the single quality and intention for a positive transformation of the present-time human disposition, rather than the intention to pray, or hope and seek, for specific changes in conditional realities. Without a radical shift in the disposition of all individuals, and in the collective human heart (and mind) first, any man-made "improvements" in the world at this time, although important and necessary, will only be temporary, both in effects and result. Everything about how we humans collectively relate to the world, and to life, must change and grow. Everything about who, and what, we think we are must change and really flourish also.

In this time when our blue-water planet is suffering so greatly, when all the trees are under threat, when every river, every valley, every mountain range and ocean is being pressed to the brink of survival, our very human existence, along with our closest links to the Contemplative life -- the beings of the Natural world -- are fading in their true possibility and purpose.

 A PRAYER OF CHANGES FOR ALL BEINGS
  Human and Non-Human
  EVERYWHERE 


In our heart-felt understanding that all living beings arise and exist in the Great Divine Being, we invoke the All-Accomplishing Bright Blessing Divine Power to flow without obstruction into every corner of the world, into every apparently individual and separate life, into every apparent place and "thing".

"All of This Is Sacred!" *

We invoke the Benign Universal Divine Blessing such that all beings and things shall be regarded by all humans as Sacred, always. We pray that all humans begin to feel and intuit Real God, now, in every being, thing and place, in and through all this Life, which surrounds us like Water.

All beings live in That, are breathed by That, and "swim" in That. In their Contemplation the non-humans know this, and they know that Divine Contemplation is essential and natural. We pray that all humans begin to notice the Sacred Sign that the non-humans show us, and that all humans now begin to find this same Natural Contemplative depth and sensitivity... And through this collective deepening understanding we pray that all humans find and embrace Right Human Life in relationship to Real God, regardless of each one's country, culture, or chosen religion. And may all the non-humans, thus and thereby, become rightly regarded, respected, and related to by all humans -- as equals -- at Heart and in Truth.
